The corner castings are strengthened in DNV containers to protect cargo even more than a standard container. All our offshore containers are built to meet DNV 2.7-1 certified standards and we make available copies of production and sling test certification (where applicable) They are completely traceable constructions.

Typically offshore or DNV spec units are only needed when shipping items to oil rigs and similar offshore instillations and when your customer/regulations require it.
